Let us write the name of civil works exist for the project broadly can be termed as scope of work.

It has been in India " GLP" goes into revision up to 9 times to make it final. All construction should have the latest copy of the GLP for reference.

b. Geotechnical Investigation  :- Like GLP a broad Geotechnical investigation was carried out during apprisal stage to enable civil experts to estimate the cost and time to be taken for the project.Once the project is awarded then detailed testing is to be carried out for designing purpose. A comprehensive report will be prepared by executing agency who are expert on this. Here we are giving a short description of soil investigation . For detail you have to refer college books or standard published by respective country.

-The Diameter of Boreholes will be minimum  150mm in Soil

- The Diameter of Bore holes will be minimum   76mm in rocks.

- The sampler Diameter will be  90 mm .

The above figures are generally followed in India.

The above picture shows the exposed head of piles to be removed  by pneumatic chisel and also gives you and  idea  of raft foundation on pile head.  This is for new comers who will come to know the site operation. This has nothing to do with SI .
